Which came first the house or the pole?
The moral of this is make sure the drawings are right – don’t assume anyone will have some common sense….they are more likely to follow the plan exactly, no matter how silly.

My daughter, who is 30, still likes Hello Kitty Products.
If your daughter likes Hello Kitty perhaps this is the house for her.
I know this, talking about girls, sounds prejudiced, but “I stereotype its faster”. (Quote from one of my favorite films In The Air)

Do you like this kitchen? …………The photo is from Kitchy Living
In the 1960’s this was probably the height of fashion!
I wonder what people will think of todays fashionable kitchens in 20-30 years?

Want to impress the neighbors with your new yellow Lamborghini?

Some Estate agents talk about Kerbside appeal.
Some house designers talk about a house having a ‘Happy Face”
Whatever you call it this house hasn’t got it…….It’s the angriest looking house I have seen.
See what I have to deal with when calling on people to organise sewer inspections……a bell push set in a rabbit trap!
Do you think the house owner has had too many people calling to ‘Save Their Souls’.
Or they just don’t like their relatives?
With some trepidation I did press the button, to hear a sound rather like Lurch (from the Adams Family) opening a creaky door.
A great idea, well executed! It kept me smiling for the rest of the day.
I’ve been driving past this lighting store with the Closing Down board outside for the last year.
It was only last week when I had a job in the area, and I was walking, that I had the chance to look more closely at the board.
This is a a photo of the top left corner of the board, which shows the writing you can’t see from the car.
It only goes to show…… You should always check the small print!
This looks like a quite nice little painting on the outside wall of a house I recently visited.
Its not just a painting though…….. its actually the cover of the electricity meter box.
A very neat, and artistic, solution to an otherwise rather boring box on the veranda of the house.
This attractive looking cottage has a ‘problem’ with damp.
That’s because its an underwater sculpture 8m below the surface off Cancun, Mexico.
It has been designed by Jason deCaires Taylor to be fish friendly.
The photo below shows the view from the other side and explains the fish friendly features.
What do you think of this bed?
It certainly looks very “Star Trek”
I can see a few problems:
I found the picture and another 17 unusual beds on the blogof.francescomugnai
