Bendigo Igloo?
Here is a Bing Maps view of what looks like a couple of Igloos . . . . but in Bendigo? . . Australia?
Well its actually a home . . . built as two concrete domes, as you can see from the photo below.
It is one of the delights of Australia compared to the UK that there are far fewer restrictions on what you can build.
I do however wonder about homes like this:
- How much did it cost?
- Will the original builders ever find someone else who likes domes enough to buy this in the future?
- How much do they lose when they sell?
